Sorabji Resource Site (SRS)

Current or Recent Research

This page lists, in chronological and then alphabetical order, current (or recent) research projects dealing with Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji and his music (fully functional websites, by nature ongoing projects with constant updates, are listed elsewhere). It is thus a documentation of works in progress (indicated by a dash after the year) or recently completed (without a dash).

Publications that appeared in a past that cannot be called recent (i.e., a few years ago) are listed, especially if they are academic works such as dissertations, and even more so if they are freely available.

I urge all to send me details of their projects or forthcoming publications, editions, recordings, and performance projects so that they can be included. Making the Sorabjian community aware of current efforts will be useful in avoiding duplication. It may also enable people with special interests to contact scholars or performers who will have particular knowledge.

Performances are only listed when a very specific reason makes them stand out from the simple inclusion of a work by Sorabji in a concert. Data on forthcoming performances will be found on the News page of the Sorabji Archive’s website.
