Track Timings of the Altarus and Continuum Recordings

This page lists the timings (not provided in the booklets) of each track of all the recordings containing music by Sorabji that have appeared on the Altarus and Continuum labels. The Altarus titles are presented in numerical order (which differs from the order of release), followed by the single Continuum title. In the case of boxed sets, the disc number is added before the track number, e.g., “1-02“. The titles of Sorabji’s works are in bold type when a given recording features other composers.

See also the page Timings of Recorded Performances of Opus clavicembalisticum.

The timings were obtained using the open source CD digital audio extractor CDex, and rounded to eliminate the hundredths of seconds. They may differ slightly from the actual duration by a few seconds since the software obviously cannot determine when the performer lifted the hands from the keyboard or released the pedal.
